Frozen Soup — Reheating & Storage Instructions
Our frozen soups are packed for convenience and can be reheated directly from frozen or after thawing.
Microwave
From Frozen
- Peel back the seal slightly to allow steam to escape.
- Microwave on medium power (800W) for approximately 8 minutes.
- Carefully remove from the microwave as the container and soup may be hot.
- Stir before serving and ensure the soup is heated through.
Fully Defrosted
- Peel back the seal slightly.
- Microwave on medium power (800W) for approximately 4 minutes.
- Carefully remove from the microwave.
- Stir before serving and ensure the soup is heated through.
Microwave heating times may vary depending on the microwave. If the soup is not sufficiently hot, continue heating in short intervals until heated through.
Stovetop
For stovetop heating:
- Remove the soup and meat completely from the packaging.
- Transfer the contents into a suitable pot.
- Bring the soup to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until the soup and meat are heated through.
- Serve hot.
Do not place the original packaging directly into a pot of boiling water.
Storage
- Keep frozen at -18°C or below.
- Keep the product frozen until ready to consume.
- Once thawed, keep refrigerated and consume promptly.
- Do not refreeze after thawing.
- Do not consume if the packaging is damaged, leaking or swollen.
Important
- Handle with care after heating as the packaging, soup and steam may be very hot.
- Always ensure the soup and meat are heated thoroughly before serving.
- Heating times are a guide and may vary depending on your microwave or stovetop.
- For best quality, follow the use-by / expiry date stated on the packaging.
